Refund & Cancellation Policy

General cancellation, rescheduling and refund rules for Bright Kids classes.

Effective / last updated: 22 August 2026

Flexible-policy note: This page is the general Bright Kids policy. If your quotation, invoice, payment page, or booking confirmation contains a different written cancellation/refund term for a customised package, that specific written term will apply to that purchase.

1. Before payment

Please review the class scope, number of sessions, indicative schedule, and final confirmed price before paying. Because tutoring can be customised, the final price may vary according to learning requirements.

2. Rescheduling a class

If a student cannot attend, contact us as early as possible. We will make a reasonable effort to reschedule, subject to tutor availability. A late cancellation or no-show may be counted as a used session where the tutor reserved the time and the class could not reasonably be reassigned.

3. Tutor or Bright Kids cancellation

If Bright Kids or the assigned tutor must cancel a confirmed class, we will normally offer a rescheduled session or another reasonable arrangement so the student does not lose the paid class solely because of that cancellation.

4. Refund requests

Refund eligibility is reviewed based on the package purchased, classes already completed or reserved, personalised work already prepared, discounts applied, and any written terms supplied before payment. Completed classes are generally not refundable after they have been delivered. Custom preparation or other work already performed may also affect the refundable amount.

5. Unused classes

If you wish to stop an ongoing package, contact us with the booking details. We will review unused classes and the applicable written package terms and tell you the available options. Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be returned through the original or another mutually agreed payment method, subject to payment-provider processing times.

6. Exchange-rate and payment-provider differences

Foreign-currency prices shown on the website are approximate. If a payment is converted between currencies, banks or payment providers may apply their own rates or fees. Any approved refund involving currency conversion may therefore differ slightly from the originally displayed website equivalent.

7. How to request a cancellation, reschedule or refund

Contact us with the parent's name, student's class details, and the relevant booking/payment information. Do not send sensitive card or bank credentials by WhatsApp or email.

8. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
